Healthy


One of my goals for this semester or New Year was to be healthier. I took a major interest in my health from one of my uncles who is a big inspiration, he is a vegetarian and uses all natural products in everything he uses all the time and he's very healthy. When I tell people that I'm trying to be healthier the reply is "But you're already skinny", last time I checked being skinny doesn't mean you are healthy. Plus, I wouldn't consider myself skinny rather just slim and tall. So since I've been back at school I have been eating healthier, I'm not completely on the right track but baby steps baby steps. Instead of buying "junk food" for my dorm I bought fruits and Special Kay or Honey nut cheerios. Also in the cafe I choose entrees that are healthier. For example if we have fried fish or chicken I have baked fish or chicken, or instead of a beef hamburger I eat a turkey burger or eat from the pasta line and often with a salad. To add to the healthy eating I do a small workout in my room sometimes playing the Wii or doing ab workouts. So I’m trying to stick with making healthier choices so that I can be a healthier me.
